Bird watching in the Aran Islands
Bird watching in the Aran Islands

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Galway in Ireland. My research focuses on microsatellite instability and what affects the ability to detect it in next-generation sequencing data. I am currently interested in using evolutionary models to help better understand microsatellite instability as a phenomenon. When not in the office, I like to fish, birdwatch, hike, box, read, and play board/video games. I also run a small business that sells aquatic friends that come with their own homes and marimo moss balls. See other sections of this website for more details.
